ASHBURN — The first 500 people to buy tickets through St. Rita High School for the Chicago White Sox game on May 11 will receive a hat featuring both the school and team logos.

Tickets for the game at 7:10 p.m. May 11 versus the Minnesota Twins cost $22 in the outfield reserve section. Bleacher seats cost $20. About $10 from every ticket will go back to the school located at 7740 S. Western Ave. in Ashburn.

The first 500 ticket buyers will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for the hat at Gate 1 when entering the game. Voucher holders can also receive their hats in Section 161 on the main concourse before the third inning of the game.

Those holding vouchers are also able to participate in a pre-game parade on the warning track — weather permitting.

About 280 of the tickets to the game had already been sold as of Tuesday afternoon, a school spokesman said.

In addition, the first 10,000 fans who enter Guaranteed Rate Field will receive a free T-shirt as part of the White Sox regular Thursday promotion.
