HYDE PARK — Want to win the Nobel Prize in literature? The University of Chicago has a lesson Thursday on how to do it.

The university is hosting Sara Danius, permanent secretary of the Swedish Academy, which decides who gets the Nobel Prize, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 102 of the Franke Institute for the Humanities in Regenstein Library, 1100 E. 57th St.

Danius is promising to give a rundown of the Nobel Prize in Literature and answer questions about what it takes to win it.

The event is free and open to the public.

In all fields, Nobel Prizes have been awarded to 89 current or former U. of C. students, staff and professors.
