UPTOWN — Tired of flooding on your block?
Ald. James Cappleman (46th) shared a simple trick to unclog street drains — using a stick — on his Facebook page.
The trick works for some of the smaller water backup problems where dislodging debris from the street grates will allow water to drain. But some neighbors had bigger problems that couldn't be solved with a stick, according to residents' comments.
If the stick trick doesn't work, you can report the problem to his office.
