Aquinas Literacy Center Needs Volunteers To Teach English

MCKINLEY PARK — The Aquinas Literacy Center is looking for volunteers to help teach English as a second language.

The language school at 3540 S. Hermitage Ave. seeks tutors who are able to commit 1½ hours a week for one-on-one training. Opportunities are available Mondays-Thursdays.

Knowledge of a second language is not required. All instruction is in English, and training is provided.

The school's next tutor training workshop is set for 6-9 p.m. April 28 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 29. Pre-registration and attendance both days are required.
