LAKEVIEW — With a new book in hand, Sen. Elizabeth Warren will speak at The Music Box Theatre in April.

The Massachusetts senator, known for her fiery Twitter battles with President Donald Trump and a persistence that became a post-election rallying cry, will speak about her book, "This Fight Is Our Fight: The Battle to Save America's Middle Class" at 2:30 p.m. April 22.

The book "tells eye-opening stories about her battles in the Senate and vividly describes the experiences of hard-working Americans who have too often been given the short end of the stick," according to the event posting.

Books purchased at the event will be pre-signed by Warren.

Tickets are $31. The event was organized by Music Box and its partnership with The Book Stall, an independent book store in Winnetka.

Warren stumped for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Chicago. She joined the recently elected Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Illinois) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) in an April 29 event.

Frequently aligned with fellow progressive Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-Vermont), Warren has campaigned for more affordable college student loans and more accountability for banks.

In January, she introduced the Presidential Conflicts of Interest Act with the intention of forcing Trump to declare conflicts of interest with his business empire.

Some have already called on Warren to run for president in 2020.
