NORTH CENTER — Where does food come from?

At the Northcenter Neighborhood Association's annual CSA Night, meet the people who grow and raise the fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy the rest of us eat from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Epiphany United Church of Christ, 2008 W. Bradley Place.

Learn how Community Supported Agriculture — in which consumers buy "shares" of a farm's output — works and discover the wide range of options available.

The event is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested.

Mint Creek Farm; meat, eggs and dairy; located in central Illinois.

Scotch Hill Farm, vegetables, located in Wisconsin.

Joe's Blueberries, located in southwest Michigan.

Sandbox Organics; fruits and vegetables, hog shares; located in Illinois.

Sitka Salmon Shares

Willow Ridge Organic Farm, vegetables, located in Wisconsin.

Collective Resources, composting, located in Evanston.

Chicago Market, co-op.

Earth First Farms, apples and cider, located in southwest Michigan.
