LINCOLN SQUARE — Amundsen's Starry Chicago team is hosting a "Imagine the Stars," a night of astronomy and art for kids at Sulzer Library Thursday.
Children ages 7 to 10 are invited to join the high school students, who've been pushing for decreased light pollution in the city, for an evening of star gazing led by astronomers from the Adler Planetarium and members of the Chicago Astronomical Society.
The youngsters will learn about the night sky, create an original piece of art and view the stars.
The event is set for 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday at the library at 4455 N. Lincoln Ave.
