LOGAN SQUARE — The shooting of a 16-year-old boy in Logan Square late Wednesday afternoon is being blamed on a "Facebook dispute."

At 3:44 p.m., the boy was in the 2500 block of West Cortland Street when someone opened fire and shot him in his leg, police said.

The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

No other information was immediately available.

On Facebook, Ald. Joe Moreno (1st) said the shooting stemmed from an ongoing "Facebook dispute." He said police would be making an arrest in the case and the incident was not "gang-related."
