Dunning Robberies Spur Police Search For Man In Gray Hoodie

DUNNING — Police are asking Dunning residents to help identify a man they believe committed three robberies in the neighborhood since Feb. 17, according to a Wednesday alert.

In each case, the man approached someone from behind and "forcibly removed" their possessions, police said.

The robberies were reported at:

• 8:10 p.m. Feb. 17 in the 3300 block of North Harlem Avenue

• 9 p.m. Feb. 26 in the 7700 block of West Belmont Avenue

• 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of North Harlem Avenue

Police described the suspect as a white man in his 20s, weighing around 170 pounds and standing between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall. He was seen wearing a gray zip-up hoodie, a blue T-shirt, jeans and a dark knit hat.
