CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded five people since Thursday, police said.

• At 5:55 a.m. Friday, a 22-year-old man was shot in Albany Park.

• At 7:38 p.m. Thursday, a 20-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. Officers responding to a call of shots fired found the man in the 10400 block of South Wallace Street.

The man had been shot in his leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 5:08 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was sitting inside a van in the 4300 block of West Ogden Avenue when a man got out of a gold-colored car and fired shots.

The victim was hit in his back and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 3:25 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was outside in the 3800 block of West Roosevelt Road when he heard shots and ran away.

The man felt pain as he ran away and officers found him in the 3800 block of West Grenshaw with a gunshot wound in his back, police said. The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.

• At 2:25 p.m., a 38-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was in a car in the 5200 block of West Madison Street when someone in another car fired shots.

The man was hit in his head and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
