CHICAGO — A shooting in Albany Park wounded a 22-year-old man on Friday morning, police said.
At 5:55 a.m., the man was driving in an alley in the 3700 block of West Lawrence Avenue when he got into an argument with two men, police said. One of the men took out a gun and fired shots.
The victim was hit in his chest and a family member took him to Swedish Covenant Hospital, police said. He was transferred to Illinois Masonic Hospital in serious condition.
The shooter and the other man ran away and no one was in custody, police said.
