UKRAINIAN VILLAGE —  Police have released photos of a man who may have tried to force his way into a woman's car as she sat in it last month in Ukrainian Village.

Around 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 15, a man walked up to the victim while she was in her car in the 2000 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said.

He "opened up the driver's-side door of the victim's car and attempted to enter the vehicle by grabbing the victim by the chest, pushing her down in a forceful manner," police said.

The woman was able to fight the man off, and forced him out of her car, according to a previous alert.

The man —  described by the victim as black, 25 to 30 years old, with a medium complexion and medium build — was wearing dark white-washed jeans and a dark gray hooded sweatshirt. He ran westbound on Chicago Avenue, police said.

The busy block has Mariano's grocery store, McDonald's, Sunrise Cafe and and many small businesses.

According to a police alert issued Wednesday, the man took the No. 66 Chicago Avenue CTA bus and got off at Kedzie Avenue, where he was last seen walking northbound.
