NORTH CENTER — Half Acre has been serving food at its taproom for a year and is marking the milestone with a special dinner that sounds, well, fishy.

Dubbed "Coast to Coast," the dinner plays off chef Nick Lacasse's stints in kitchens in New England and Seattle, with a heavy emphasis on seafood dishes.

The event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. March 27, with guests bellying up to East and West Coast oyster shucking stations and quaffing rare Half Acre brews, all while waiters dressed like lobsters pass trays of hors d'oeuvres, according to organizers.

A five-course meal will follow, including tuna poke (aka Hawaiian raw tuna salad), seafood stew and squid ink tostada.

Only 40 seats, at $65 per person, are available. To buy tickets, click here.
