CHICAGO — Police are looking for suspects following a series of burglaries on the Near North Side.
In each instance, one or more people broke into retail stores or restaurants by smashing glass doors and windows, officers said in a community alert Tuesday.
The burglaries happened in the 500 block of North LaSalle Drive about 12:45 a.m. Feb. 8; 2:15 a.m. Feb. 21; and 3:45 a.m. Feb. 27. The final burglaries happened in the 300 block of West Hubbard Street about 11:30 p.m. Feb. 15 and 4:15 a.m. Feb. 28.
