CHICAGO — A fire in Albany Park killed a man in his 20s early Monday, police said.
At 3:10 a.m., officials were called to a fire at a single-family home in the 4700 block of North Harding Avenue, police said. A man was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, police said.
A neighbor told ABC7 a large family lives in the house and that they run a business from the home. A source told the station that a family friend lives in the attic portion of the home, which could be seen boarded up.
