LOGAN SQUARE — A man is in critical condition after being stabbed on Cortland Street in the middle of the day Tuesday, police said.

Around 2:15 p.m., someone stabbed the 18-year-old man during an argument in the 3500 block of West Cortland Street, according to police.

The man was taken to Cook County Hospital with lacerations to the chest. He is listed in critical condition, police said.

No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
