LINCOLN PARK — Captain's Catch is casting a wide net in the old Peasantry spot at 2723 N. Clark St.

The Cajun-Creole crab shack from the owners of Sakura Teppanyaki and Sushi, around the corner at 730 W. Diversey Parkway, has opened with a menu that puts garlic edamame alongside Cajun garlic wings and soft-shell crab as appetizers.

The entree menu stretches from po' boys to high-end items like Dungeness crab ($42), king crab legs ($37) and lobster ($48).

The restaurant opened for business last month.

Diners are asked to select a catch, a flavor including lemon pepper, garlic, Cajun, curry and "captain's mix," spice level and sides including corn, sausage and potatoes.

Po' boys go for $8-$10, baskets including Cajun fries from $10-$14, with a seafood combo available during the day on weekends for $12.

Hours are 4:30-10:30 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 4:30-11:30 p.m. Fridays, noon-11:30 p.m. Saturdays and noon-10:30 p.m. Sundays.
