HUMBOLDT PARK — Police are warning food delivery drivers in Humboldt Park after at least three reported incidents in which drivers were victims of armed robberies.
The incidents have all occurred in the 1400 block of North Springfield Avenue, according to a police alert.
In each incident, two robbers rob the victim at gunpoint while the victim is making a food delivery.
The incidents occurred on:
• Feb. 1 at 2:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Springfield Avenue
• Feb. 1 at 9:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Springfield Avenue
• Feb. 8 at 12:05 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Springfield Avenue
Police describe the robbers as two Hispanic men, between 18 to 25 years of age, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8, between 150 to 160 pounds, wearing all black clothing.
