LOGAN SQUARE — It's a busy month for Hopewell Brewing Company, the taproom that made Logan Square its home a year ago.

The taproom, 2760 N. Milwaukee Ave., is celebrating its first anniversary on Feb. 18 with a party full of local food and sweets, dancing and, of course, Hopewell beer.

Beginning at 3 p.m., patrons are invited to Hopewell for limited edition rotating beer taps, food from Bang Bang Pie, Korean grub from Bop Bar Truck and pizza from Pizzeria Serio. From 10 p.m.-2 a.m., Brasstax DJs will play rap and r&b dance jams.

The owners of Hopewell also said to expect a "special surprise," but didn't divulge the details. To RSVP, visit Hopewell's event page.

Also in February the taproom is hosting a Valentine's Day party and a pop-up dinner.

The dinner, which is set for 7 p.m. Monday, is the third installment of Hopewell's pop-up dinner series. West Loop retro cafeteria Saint Lou's Assembly and local distillery Letherbee Distillers are partnering on the special meal, which costs $75 per person. Tickets can be bought online.

On Feb. 14, DJ Kirk van Houten will be at Hopewell spinning "baby making musique" from 7-10 p.m. to celebrate Valentine's Day.

"Grab a beer before and/or after that romantic dinner you've got planned, or just order food to the taproom and spend your whole night with us. It's your call," the taproom said in release.
