Armed Robbers Target Businesses In Albany Park, Irving Park: Police

ALBANY PARK — Armed robbers hit a pair of businesses in Albany Park and Irving Park last week, according to a community alert issued by police.

The suspect, or suspects, showed a weapon and stole property, police said.

The offender, or offenders, is described as black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-8-inches to 5-foot-ten-inches tall and weighing 190-200 pounds.

The incidents occurred:

• 4700 block of North Bernard Street, 8:45 p.m., Feb. 2.

•3600 block of North Elston Avenue, 9:15 p.m., Feb. 2.
