BRIDGEPORT — Take a walk by the future home of Bridgeport's new full-service restaurant, Tria, and you'll get an updated glimpse of what the place might look like.

Taped to the window is a new rendering:

The breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant at 3300 S. Halsted St. will take over a now-vacant building that used to house Calabruzzi's Cafe and Thirty3 Bar & Grill.

Serving American food, the restaurant will be operated by the Bertucci Family, the same family that owns Fabulous Freddies Italian Eatery, 701 W. 31st St.

Expected to open across the street from Nana Organic later this year, the restaurant represents new life along the Halsted Street corridor.

The Bertucci Family was not immediately available for comment.
