KENWOOD — Patrick Franklin, 19, was killed Monday afternoon in Kenwood, officials said.
At 12:46 p.m., the man was found unresponsive outside a home in the 4600 block of South Woodlawn Avenue, police said.
He had been shot in his groin and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Franklin, of the 2700 block of South State Street, was pronounced dead at 1:19 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
