CHICAGO — The Blackhawks have released a weirdly funny web series that pokes fun at two of its players — and how much one of them loves soup.
"Soup and a Sandwich," which stars Artemi "Bread Man" Panarin and Brian "Soup" Campbell, has two episodes so far, each only about one minute long.
The first episode shows Campbell celebrating that he has some soup and meat — but no bread. He's joined by Panarin, who does have bread, before the episode cuts out.
The second episode, which is perhaps even odder than the first one, shows Campbell talking about soup toppings — in particular, crackers.
"Artemi, would you like to try one?" Campbell asks.
When Panarin hesitates, Campbell becomes more insistent: "I said have one!"
The episode ends after Panarin admits the crackers are good.
