MIDWAY — The Midway Noise Compatibility Commission will hold its next quarterly meeting on Thursday.
The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Mayfield, 6072 S. Archer Ave. The public is invited.
The Chicago Department of Aviation will share statistics on noise complaints and news from the airport.
From July-September, the Chicago Department of Aviation received 30,220 noise complaints about planes flying in and out of Midway, according the department’s third quarter report.
Only 834 of those complaints came from Chicago. Almost 28,000 of them came from two suburbs.
