Vegan Market Coming Back To The Plant Chicago

BACK OF THE YARDS — A vegan market is returning to the neighborhood.

The Café-Cultura-Arte Market returns to Plant Chicago, 1400 W. 46th St., from 11 a.m-5 p.m. Feb. 11.

The market will include workshops, lectures and an array of vegan food and craft vendors. Here's some of what you can expect:

• A household herbs workshop

• Tours of Plant Chicago

• Vegan food demonstrations and sustainability lectures

Art Vendors include Cera & Lore, Thunder Moon Studios, Beautifully Dead by Dalilia, Hecho Con Cariño by Angmir, Bodega 18, Jaqui Arte, Mano y Metal, Ayurvedic Elements, Puech Ikots, El Calbario, Las Artelitas, Limbagal, Soap Distillery and ECO Boutique Glass Terrariums.

There will be a variety of 100-percent vegan food vendors, including Chicago Style Vegan, The Chunky Scones, Ste. Martaen, The Tiny Vegans, Coqui Eats, Bravo Tamales, Cecilia’s Ceviche, Betty Bot Bakery, Sacred Serve and Back of the Yards Coffee Co.

Vendor menus feature deep-dish pizza, churros, pastel de tres leches, rib tips, curry chickpeas, mac and cheese and vegan sausages.

DJ Mwelwa Musambacine will provide entertainment.
