ALBANY PARK — Graffiti topped the list of the 33rd Ward's 311 requests for December 2016, according to a report that Ald. Deb Mell shared with constituents.

The summary of the ward's 311 calls provided a glimpse into people's most common complaints and issues.

The Department of Streets and Sanitation bore the brunt of the 335 requests placed by residents of the 33rd Ward — encompassing Albany Park, Ravenswood Manor, Irving Park and Avondale — fielding 153 of the calls for service.

Of those, graffiti reports — 45 of them — topped all other 311 categories by a significant margin. In fact, graffiti alone notched more 311 requests than entire departments, including transportation and water management.
