NORTH PARK — The Fox network's top-rated drama "Empire" is coming to North Park Tuesday, and bringing parking restrictions with it.
According to filming notices posted around the neighborhood, "no parking" zones will be in effect:
• 7 a.m. Monday through 7 p.m. Wednesday, west side of St. Louis Avenue, from Catalpa to Balmoral.
• 8 p.m. Monday through midnight Tuesday, east side of St. Louis Avenue, from Catalpa to Balmoral; both sides of St. Louis Avenue, from Balmoral to Berwyn.
Created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, "Empire" stars Terrence Howard as hip-hop mogul Lucious Lyon and Taraji P. Henson as his ex-wife Cookie Lyon.
The series is the top-rated broadcast TV drama among 18 to 49-year-olds, according to TV Line.
Fox recently renewed "Empire" for a fourth season. The show returns from hiatus in March.
