COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — Four teenage boys have been charged with robbing a woman in Fuller Park on Friday.
According to police, the 23-year-old woman was walking in the 200 block of West 47th Street about 11:30 p.m. Friday when a group of four teenage boys approached and asked if they could help with her bags.
That's when a 14-year-old boy struck the woman in her head, allowing his accomplices to steal the woman's belongings, police said.
A witness called police, and officers found the boys nearby with the victim's belongings, according to authorities.
Three teens, ages 13, 16 and 16, are charged as juveniles with robbery.
The 14-year-old boy is charged with robbery and battery making physical contact.
