LOGAN SQUARE — Don't say goodbye to the Obamas alone.

Head to cozy cocktail bar, The Whistler, 2421 N. Milwaukee Ave., on Monday for an election-focused installment of "Feminist Happy Hour," beginning at 6:30 p.m.

There, a group of creative women, including Veronica Arreola, Kim Bellware, Jasmine Davila, Colette Gregory and Jill Hopkins-Oleynik, will perform standup and sketch comedy, screen short films and more — all with a feminist-focused, socially conscious point of view. Alicia Swiz is slated to host.

The goal of the variety show is to "say goodbye to the administration that brought us The White House Council on Women and Girls, the first Latina woman to serve on the Supreme Court, as well as the first President to hold a hip hop block party at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue," according to a news release.

"Feminist Happy Hour" is held the second Monday of every month.

The Whistler is also gearing up to debut a brand new event series called "Drunk TED Talks," in which writers, artists and performers give drunken presentations on a subject of their choice like Mike Ditka, Billy Corgan and dating in Chicago, to name a few.

The first installment is scheduled for Jan. 26.

The following writers are scheduled to perform: Erik Adams, TV editor at The A.V. Club; Sasha Geffen, staff writer at MTV News; Britt Julious, freelance journalist for Chicago Magazine, Chicago Tribune and more; and Josh Terry, music writer at Redeye.

Going forward, the bar will be hosting "Drunk TED Talks" the fourth Thursday of every month.

There is no cover charge for either event.
