
LINCOLN SQUARE — Tuesday's high winds grounded hundreds of flights at O'Hare and shut down city streets.
But the gales weren't quite forceful enough for one Chicagoan as he made his routine maintenance rounds.
"Pshaw," we suppose he said, as he judged Mother Nature's 60-mile-per-hour gusts inadequate for the task of leaf removal.
"This is a job for gas-powered tools," he apparently thought.
And he reached for his leaf blower. And blew.
