HYDE PARK — President Barack Obama will be in Hyde Park on Tuesday before his farewell address at McCormick Place.

NBC News announced Sunday that Lester Holt will interview Obama at a restaurant in Hyde Park on how well he delivered on his campaign promises during his eight years as president.

NBC and the White House did not provide details about what restaurant Obama would visit.

Obama has been a frequent visitor to Valois, 1518 E. 53rd St., in the past.

The interview, which will also include an interview taped with the president during his final flight aboard Air Force One to Chicago, will air at 9 p.m. Friday as part of the “Dateline NBC” special “Barack Obama: The Reality of Hope.”
