CHATHAM — The Chicago Police Department will host a "Be the Change" recruitment day Saturday.
People will be able to meet police officers and apply on-site. The event will be held at WVON 1690 AM, 1000 E. 87th St. WVON's personalities will also participate in a meet-and-greet. The deadline to apply to the Chicago Police Department is Jan. 31. Interested applicants can also apply online.
The program is free and applicants must be 21 by hire date and have a valid Illinois driver's license. For a complete list of requirements visit www.bethechangecpd.com.
