
CHICAGO — A man was killed and three others were wounded in shootings since Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
In Greater Grand Crossing, a 23-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday afternoon, police said.
In non-fatal shootings:
• At 11:30 p.m., a 51-year-old woman was shot in Washington Park, police said.
She answered her door in the 5200 block of South Prairie Avenue and got into an argument with a man over a drug deal, police said. The man then took out a gun and shot her before fleeing, police said. The woman was struck in her abdomen and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where her condition wasn't released but police considered her to be stable.
• At 10:20, a 23-year-old woman was shot in Chicago Lawn, police said.
The woman was in an apartment in the 6200 block of South Spaulding Avenue when a man in the apartment accidentally shot his gun, police said. She was struck in her left hand and got herself to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
• At 5:13 p.m., a man was shot in Irving Park, police said.
No arrests have been made.
