CHICAGO — A 26-year-old woman was shot in Irving Park early Monday, police said.

At 3:50 a.m., she was in a vehicle in the 4100 block of North Kedvale Avenue when someone in his 40s walked up to the car and fired a shot, police said.

She was hit in her right hand and was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital in good condition, police said.

The shooting might have been "domestic related," police said.
