CHICAGO — A 53-year-old man was shot in Washington Park early Friday, police said.
Around 9:29 a.m., the man was standing outside in the 300 block of East 51st Street when a red car pulled up and a man got out of the car before firing, police said.
He was struck in his right hand and was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in good condition, police said.
No one is in custody, police said.
