WEST TOWN — Illinois Lottery officials say no one has come forward yet with the "Lucky Day" Lotto ticket bought at a West Town gas station that matched all five numbers to win $1.85 million in a Tuesday night drawing.

According to a news release, the winning Quick Pick ticket was bought at Grand Shell, 505 N. Ashland Ave., and matched all five numbers – 07 - 23 - 27 - 28 - 38 in the Dec. 20 drawing.

The gas station will receive a bonus of $18,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

A spokesman with The Illinois Lottery said that Grand Shell's net lottery sales from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 were $818,886.

As of this past Sept. 7, Grand Shell is one of 1,450 active Lottery retailers in Chicago, the spokesman said.

Sam Syed, a cashier at Grand Shell, said that he did not personally sell the ticket but that a night cashier sold the $1 ticket on Tuesday, around 8:32 p.m., less than an hour before the nightly drawing at 9:22 p.m.

"Everyone is happy for it. We don't know who the winner is," Syed said.

Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.

The ticket holder is encouraged to "immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights," Lottery officials said.

Lottery officials said Lucky Day Lotto drawings are twice a day, seven days a week. More than 50,900 players won prizes ranging from $1 to $200 in Tuesday's Lucky Day Lotto drawing. For more information, visit illinoislottery.com.
