JEFFERSON PARK — The Jefferson Park Sunday Market will open its winter season with more than 30 craft, food and drink vendors at the Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence Ave., on Sunday.

Unlike during summer months, when the Sunday market sells produce outdoors twice a month, shoppers will be able to choose from a wider variety of goodies inside a toasty sheltered venue.

Hot food, baked goods and spices will be sold by businesses without permanent locations, like Spark of the Heart and Pixie Pies, making Sunday a rare opportunity to hunt them down.

Neighbors can also pickup gift-worthy items and decorative touches from Chicago Hot Glass, Laz Cosmetics or neighborhood standby Distinct Bath & Body.

A representative of Barefoot Books will perform a "story time" for kids at noon, while Lake Effect brewery will pour its Snow witbier for adults.

The indoor winter market will return on Jan. 29, April 2 and May 7.

Admission is free. For more information, email jeffersonparksundaymarket@zoho.com.
