CHICAGO — It's a blast from Chicago's past.
Prizes from "The Bozo Show," Dick Tracy Crimestoppers badges and other vintage Chicago television show goodies are featured on a new video.
Pete Kastanes, creator of several popular Facebook pages featuring old-school Chicago items, made the video.
It showcases "the children's shows in Chicago that I and my generation remembered the merchandising very fondly," Kastanes said.
"Whatever we saw on TV, that's what we wanted for our birthdays, Christmas or any other special occasions in our lives," he said. "The shows and characters are considered timeless in our memories growing up in Chicago."
