CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was shot in Armour Square Thursday night, according to police.
At around 9:30 p.m., the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 3700 block of South Wells Street when shots rang out, police said.
He was struck in his right leg and managed to get himself to Mercy Hospital in good condition, police said.
No arrests have been made. The man is a documented gang member, police said.
