CHICAGO — A 73-year-old man was shot to death while driving in Austin early Friday, according to police.
At around 2:20 a.m., the man was driving in the 1300 block of North Laramie Avenue when shots were fired in his direction, police said.
He was struck in the body, and the man crashed his car into two parked cars after being shot, police said. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said they aren't sure if the man was the intended target of the shooting. No arrests have been made.
