
CHICAGO — Four people were wounded in two separate shootings in Englewood Saturday, police said.
At 6:25 p.m., a man was walking in the 7200 block of South Sangamon Street when another man armed with a handgun approached him and shot him while robbing him, police said.
He was hit in his abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
Shortly before at 6:22 p.m., three men were standing on the sidewalk in the 7000 block of South Emerald Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain, police said.
A 20-year-old man was hit in his head and abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition. A 19-year-old was hit in his chest and right arm and was also taken to the same hospital in serious condition. A 29-year-old man was hit in his right arm and was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital in stable condition, police said.
All three victims were documented gang members, police said.
No one was in custody.
