AUSTIN — A 16-year-old boy sitting on a front porch was shot in the leg early Thursday morning, Chicago Police said.
The shooting happened at 12:04 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Massasoit, where the teen had been sitting on a porch.
Someone in a white car fired shots, striking the boy in his left leg, police said. The was listed as "stable" at Mount Sinai Medical Center, police said.
No one is in custody, and area detectives were investigating.
