WEST ENGLEWOOD— A West Englewood shooting left a man wounded on Wednesday, police said. 

At 11:40 a.m., a 20-year-old man was a passenger in a car driving in the 1900 block of West 59th street when a red SUV pulled up alongside and fired shots, police said. 

The man, who was shot in the head, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said. 

The man was a documented gang member, police sources said. 

No one is in custody, police said.
