Northwest Side Armed Robberies Prompt Police Warning

CHICAGO — Police are looking for someone who robbed several people on the street in multiple Northwest Side neighborhoods this month.

Police said one or two men approached people and robbed them at gunpoint.

The robberies occurred at the following times and locations:

• 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of North Avers Avenue

• 10 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 2700 block of West Wilson Avenue

• 9:30 a.m. Nov. 9 in the 4600 block of North Pulaski Road

• 1:30 a.m. Nov. 9 in the 3800 block of North Hamlin Avenue

The robbers were described as black men between 18 and 20 years old, between 5-foot-7 and 6-foot and weighing 150 to 170 pounds, police said. Both men were wearing dark-colored clothing, police said.
