CHICAGO — A cab driver was shot and robbed while in West Englewood Tuesday night, according to police.

At around 8:45 p.m., the 41-year-old man was in the 6500 block of South Justine Avenue when two men walked up to him with a gun and robbed him, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The armed men also shot the cab driver twice in his right shoulder and once in his right arm, Estrada said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not released but police considered him to be stable.

The cab driver was robbed of an unspecified amount of cash, Estrada said.

No arrests have been made.
