RIVER NORTH — The Conrad Chicago hotel that opened Monday in River North is bringing a new restaurant promising small plates and big selections of bourbon.
Baptiste & Bottle opened Monday on the 20th floor of the new luxury hotel at Erie and Rush streets. Led by Latinicity chef Richard Sandoval, the "neighborhood spot" offers fare ranging from Tasso pork rinds to seared strip steaks:

The "bottle" in the 162-seat restaurant's name is decidedly bourbon, with the drink menu including whiskey flights, bottle service and cocktails ranging from Manhattans to house specials.
The restaurant at 101 E. Erie St. will serve breakfast from 6:30-10:30 a.m. every day and lunch from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Baptiste & Bottle will be open for dinner from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Sundays-Thursdays and 5:30-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
The bar will be open from 11 a.m.-midnight Mondays-Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sundays.
Baptiste & Bottle joins Il Tavolino, an Italian cafe led by Sandoval that opened last month on the first floor of the hotel:

Noyane, a Japanese-inspired rooftop lounge, is set to open next year on top of the hotel.
