CHICAGO — A shooting in Woodlawn wounded a 42-year-old man on Thursday night, police said.
At 9:44 p.m., the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 1400 block of East Marquette Road when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The man was hit in his lower left leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
No one was in custody.
