HYDE PARK — It’s OK to drink at the Oriental Institute on Saturday — it’s for education.

The museum at 1155 E. 58th St. is hosting a crash course from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday on how the Mesopotamians brew and drank beer.

Researchers will explain the role of alcohol in the ancient society and lead a tour of the museum’s galleries.

Drinks and light refreshments will be served.

Tickets are $65 and guests are asked to register on the event website.
