CHICAGO — A shooting in Back of the Yards killed a 19-year-old man Thursday night, police said.
At 6:20 p.m., the man was in the 4800 block of South Laflin Street when two people got out of a maroon SUV, fired shots at him and then drove away, police said.
The man was hit in his head and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The man was identified as Francisco Guzman, of the 7100 block of South Maplewood, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Guzman was pronounced dead at 6:39 p.m. and an autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
No one was in custody.
