West Englewood Shootings Wound 2 Men, Police Say

CHICAGO — Shootings in West Englewood have left two men wounded since Friday, police said.

• At 2 a.m. Saturday, a 30-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk in the 6000 block of South Loomis when someone in an SUV fired shots at him, police said.

The man was hit in his buttocks and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police sources said.

• At 11:30 a.m. Friday, a 29-year-old man was shot and wounded while sitting in a parked car.
